Most people think that because their dogs eat kibble that it will keep their teeth clean but that is a fallacy. Kibble does noting to clean the teeth. If your little guy is bad about opening his mouth you might want to consider one of the enzyme cleaners that are available. I know there are some that you just put in the drinking water and it keeps the plaque from forming by controlling the bad bacteria in the mouth.
