i have my dh hold lola. she acts like she is dying when i clip her nails and i refuse to bring her and pay to have someone do it when i can. so she doesnt talk to me either for a bit but each time when she realizes i am not going to hurt her it gets better. i do it every week now instead of waiting. to keep her familiar with the practice which i find also helps. good luck.
