Default should I feed her after she throws up?

Emy has had some sort of upset stomach yesterday and this morning, she
threw up her breakfast about 1/2 hour after I fed her..trouble is she looks
at me like she's starving...should I give her anything to eat? I did boil up
some chicken breast yesterday for her, but this morning I gave her the
regular breakfast of kibble and a few veggies. I called the vet yesterday
about it, I had started giving her some joint supplements cut in half of
the dose for her weight, the vet said to stop the supplements for now. This
morning I didn't give her any, and she still threw up...it looks like its coming out whole, maybe she is eating too fast, she is fine otherwise, drinking, peeing, pooping, not much today, cause she didn't have much yesterday...I told the vet if she keeps throwing up I will bring her in next week. My question is, once she's thrown up, her stomach is obviously empty. Should I wait to give her something in her tummy a while, or what? I'm with her 24/7, she doesn't get into anything cause I'm always with her. When I walk her I don't let her eat anything....seems like when I picked her up a couple days ago, it sounded like she was burping everytime I picked her up...maybe she's got gas? She is only 9 months old, and is just coming out of her first heat. she's obviously hungry, cause right now she's giving me the stinkeye at my back, and going grrrrrrrrr, trying to get my attention..LOL
