Congratulations! I am so glad he is with you now. He will feel so much better when he gets all the rotten teeth out. Niiki a senior rescue I took in had such bad teeth they were rotted below the gum line. He had all his teeth removed and gum work done at the age of 15 and was like a new dog after. His breath was so bad you couldn't stand to me by him. He lived almost 4 more years with no problems. Also my Pixie is almost 7 and she has had 10 teeth pulled during 3 different cleanings. Now her breath and teeth look great. Pixie just had her last dental a couple of weeks ago. The cost was 325.00 and that included pre anesthesia blood work and 2 teeth extractions. It was 10.00 an extraction. Good luck and bless you for taking him in and getting him healthy.
