 when is he allowed around other dogs?
My pup has kennel cough and is on antibiotics (Clavamox) 3 more days for it. Also he is on the antibiotics (albon) for coccidiosis in his stool (he has no symptoms from it though).
Anyway, ive read here that it takes 12+ weeks to get rid of kennel cough with these little guys... does that mean 12+ weeks of no socialization with other dogs???
Also after we are done with the antibiotics i doubt he will be finished coughing. It has not gotten better but it also isn't bad. We have another doctor's appointment next week -- and since he is still coughing, does that mean they will most likely give me another antibiotic? If so I just want the antibiotic... i dont want to have to go to the vet again |
