For a 9 week old Yorkie pup, I would feed canned food 4 times a day as this helps to add water to their daily intake, and helps to keep the stools on the soft side. I would leave out some kibble to snack on between meals. Kibble alone for very young pups can make their stools very hard and small.

And I agree with Gemy, a BM after each meal.

Their tummies are tiny... a tablespoon would fill them up, so increase frequency/# of meals per day to reach the maximum intake.
