I don't think the vet is the problem. Like I said, this isn't the same illness that won't go away. It's been four seperate symptoms wholly unrelated to each other. At the moment, Bimmer is sitting in mom's lap wide awake which is something he didn't do at all last week. He slept the ENTIRE week. This week, he's wide awake he just won't eat.

Tonight I ran to the store to grab some more Pedialyte and figured I'd try the boiled hamburger meat and sea salt meal. To my surprise he ate up a large portion similar in size to his normal sitting of food. So now he has a full belly, though I don't know how much sugar is in salted beef. Will his sugar drop again or can his body make enough glucose from that meal? Also, after getting his sugar level back up, the Stevie Wonder shake subsided for the most part, so it very well may be a result of low sugar.

On the low sugar front, Bimmer hasn't been eating this week so he's had a fair bit of Nutrical to sustain him. I feel like it's losing its effectiveness and his body is adapting to a high sugar diet which means I HAVE to get him eating again and off the Nutrical. Hopefully the hamburger meat is a step in the right direction, I just don't know anymore.

I'll call the vet in the morning, but until then we'll hold down the fort. I'd be VERY concerned if he was lethargic, but he's really not at all. I just had him on the floor walking around to break up the poo in his colon and sure he's a little slower and wobblier than normal, but other than that he's nowhere near as bad as last week.

I'll keep you posted...
