Is it ever ok do something drastic ? To break the law ? Yes, in my opinion, but grabbing a puppy and running in this case, I don't think so. The puppy was not in eminent danger. I could and would try to change the pet store's policy about selling puppies. But grabbing a pup and running away with it ?
We haven't got the right to break a window and go in a house even to save a dog, if the house is NOT on fire. We have to call the police and wait. |
I agree. No pet stores here sell puppies or kittens so I have no experience with this, but I am also against BYB and *especially* puppy mills. Just the thought of them is revolting.
I would much rather educate pet stores than encourage stealing. It doesn't make *our* cause any better and makes us (those that try to spread the word) the bad guys :/
