I wish they would at least make it a law that puppies need to be 6 months old before transporting into the country. That would still enable those wanting to get their dogs from overseas, the opportunity to import them. But it would put an end to 6 week old puppies being taken from their mothers and thrown into a cargo hold to wind up who knows where. No greedy puppymiller would want to support them until they were 6 months old -- so this would put an end to it! Only the quality dog breeders would care enough to keep their pups 6 months before finding them a forever home. 6 MONTHS OLD BEFORE IMPORTING OR EXPORTING! |
