Love first time Yorkie parent, I would love to learn as much as i can about my little girl

Lola Amor was rescued from a hoarding/breeding situation here in Oregon. She was one of over 250 animals rescued from that awful place. She had been caged up along with so many other doggies that were used for breeding. Sadly there were some females in such awful conditions that they had to be put down. There were some missing all there teeth, blind and deaf because of ear infections that had gone un treated for years. She has lived in a cage for years and is just getting used to freedom. I have never owned a small breed dog before, and even my little Boston was half pitbull terrier so she was 18lbs and stocky my other two boys were American Pitbull terriers and just absolute couch potatoes and love bugs. They were big boys though and could handle themselves pretty well at the park with all the other big guys. After my Shinobi passed away I received a call, asking if I could foster a little Yorkie, when I saw her and read her story I fell in love. needles to say she is laying next to me now in her plush little bed and will not be going anywhere I love her. I just want to know more about her. I have done a lot of reading on the breed but would love to hear from other Yorkie owners, any advice is welcome. She is doing ok with people and other dogs, she gets shy sometimes and hides in corners. She also wont eat outside her crate, I think she is so used to being locked up in one it feels strange to eat outside of it. Her ear infections have been taken care of by the vet and all the matted mess of her hair has been cut off. So I was wondering how long it will take for her hair to grow? I know this was so much to read but I hope to get some advice
