Is there a specific book or website you used to learn more about a BARF diet and how to prepare foods?
If you think your baby has an allergy to chicken, can you still do a BARF diet? I know chicken is the easiest ingredient to find but not sure what else I could substitute that would be healthy and fairly easy to find.
Other than food, what else do you add to a BARF diet? (vitamins, flax seed?)
Do you supplement a meal with a dry kibble?
Any help or ideas that are offered I would appreciate. |
Have you tried the commercially prepared raw diets? I feed Nature's Variety to mine...they have a full line of frozen raw foods, (grain free) canned and dry kibble. Some of their dry foods have freeze dried raw bits in it. I'm not sure where you could find it in Decatur though...you would have to do a store locater for your zip code from their site.
There are other commercially prepared raw diets available too.
I want mine on raw but I want to be sure they are getting everything they need, that's why I went with the already prepared diet.
