Default BARF diet questions

After reading numerous threads about people feeding a BARF diet I went online and found out what a BARF diet is.

Is there a specific book or website you used to learn more about a BARF diet and how to prepare foods?

If you think your baby has an allergy to chicken, can you still do a BARF diet? I know chicken is the easiest ingredient to find but not sure what else I could substitute that would be healthy and fairly easy to find.

Other than food, what else do you add to a BARF diet? (vitamins, flax seed?)

Do you supplement a meal with a dry kibble?

Any help or ideas that are offered I would appreciate.
