I hate to ask this but I really couldnt find any answers on my own. The dog I was fostering "Oliver" has his doggie lipstick stuck out of its container if you know what I mean. The skin around his penis rolls inwards and has to be lubed up and manipulated to its normal position. We are not sure yet how often this needs to be done but they are hoping to find an adopter that does not mind doing this. The vet staff said the surgery to fix this is really expensive but everything I'm reading on this condition says you should do something about it. He doesnt seem like it bothers him, the area isnt swollen or anything but I wonder if they are not taking this serious enough or if I'm being too paraniod and overprotective. Any one else experienced this? Is their anything you can add to thier diet or skin to help at all??
Does anyone have a dog they have to do this to??
