Edie has one by Outward Hound. We used to LIVE on our 35 foot boat in the summer here in Maine. Here's the funny thing: Edie's life vest has NEVER GOTTEN WET. The water is pretty cold up here. I usually kept it on her when we were underway. At anchor, in a calm harbor, I took it off. Edie has pretty good sea legs and goes almost everywhere on the boat.
I do suggest that you bring Lexi's crate with you so you have somewhere secure to put her if necessary. One time we were in VERY ROUGH seas (have you seen the "Perfect Storm??") and I kept Edie in her crate in a secure place. Hopefully you won't have to deal with that. Also, if you decide to leave the boat and go out to dinner or something, she will be much safer in the crate than wandering around the boat. |
