A puppy that young can dehydrate very quickly. They decompensate quickly. A puppy may seem fine and then go down hill fast. Has he gotten any people food or dog treats? This type of thing can make a young puppy sick quickly.
If he has very loose diarrhea I would get him to the vet right away. It may save you an even more expensive stay if they have to rehydrate him. There are some forms of parasites that can cause diarrhea as well. |
