i see what you are doing wrong now.. to make a new thread do not click on new posts above...
on the main page you will see the list of categorys , general, yorkie pics, health , etc......
you will click on the category you want , general for example, at the top in the left corner you will see "new thread" in a little blue box, click that and then you can post your thread..
ps sorry i forgot the "g" on your name...
