Hi everyone, this is Carla.
I know it's late but I wanted everyone to know I've been home within the past hour. I went from the ICU unit to two step-down units throughout the day. This evening, the Neurologist and Cardiologist decided I would be moved to a Physical Therapy Center for 3-4 weeks tomorrow morning but after much discussion, I now have a list of In-Home Care services to call that will allow me to attempt Therapy here at home.
There are no words to express how much I appreciate the loving thoughts, prayers and concerns from so many, it's been very overwhelming! I've never been so terrified in my life and didn't know where to turn, I Thank God for all of you and your quick responses and blessings.
I can not thank all of you enough for being there for me, and especially my son, Jason. He's been very scared also but kept trying to keep a brave face for me.
I will update more tomorrow after some of the symptoms have subsided and I've gained some strength.
It's been so calming for me to know Yazmin's so content and is sound a sleep, curled up next to me right now.
