I think we have flown them all. Size is not a problem for us, but I think it is more about the temperment and calmness of the dog than the carrier. Taking a dog on a long nonstop flight might be more difficult for an inexperienced dogs than one with a few stops where they can stretch their legs after some shorter hops. Rally depends on the dog. It is cool and often noisy down on the floor in the plane.
Be sure they have lots of introductory time with their carrier before the actual trip.
