I don't like the excuse that if you don't take her someone else will. It's just trying to justify something you know is not right. You can take the pup or you cannot take the pup. The difference is you being a part of the sad never ending problem of too many puppies being bred and too many being put down every year, or you can walk away from it and be an advocate for these beautiful creatures by supporting reputable breeders and/or rescues.
The fact that this woman is letting them go at 6 weeks tells she is just in it for extra money. I've heard it so many times when I ask why they let the puppies go at such a young age; They just wanted to get rid of them. They wanted them out of the house. They don't care about the well being of the dogs. That extra 6 weeks would help immeasurably in the development of the dog's future.
