@jennmac415 I think it's not that uncommon. As far as I know, some breeders breed for the smaller size as people will pay more for a 'teacup' yorkie. However, Jackson (my puppy) is 19 weeks, almost above the breed standard size, and completely healthy and happy. We go on at least one walk a day, and visit an off-leash park every few days. He is very active and definitely not fat!
