Got a phone call.
Apparently the cause was a respitory infection that caused a stroke.
He reacted somewhat disoriented and agressively during the stroke pulling tubes out, so he was heavily sedated and is being given antibiotics in his IV.
He will remain on oxygen in a portable tank, along with his nebulizer and apparently he takes manu meds, he also has rhumatiod arthritis.
They will stop sedation tomorrow after his body has rested enough to reevaluate his condition.
It was so nice to get a call from two siblings.
I had to ask them to speak slowly...the accents I'm afraid along with different meanings for words caused some translation complications. |
