Just saw this thread. My Roxi was spayed at 9 mos and weighed 2.8 pounds. The pre-op bloodwork showed she had some sort of liver issue, so we were sent to a surgeon at the Emergency Hospital. Roxi had a liver biopsy, ovariectomy, and baby teeth pulled at the same time. She also spent the night but I was so glad that all this was done at the hospital because she was monitored the whole time. I picked her up the next afternoon. The only problem we encountered was because of her baby teeth being removed, we had to soften up her dry dog food and she refused to eat. She was on the verge of becoming hypoglycemic, so I opened up a can of soft food and everything was find after that. Hope everything goes OK.
