So just now, my mom was making something in the kitchen, and in the living room, Mocha (my 11 year old yorkie) and I were having fun, rolling around on the carpet and chasing each other. After a few minutes, my mom walked right past us and went back to sit on the sofa in the living room, but Mocha was still busy rolling around and didn't seem to notice. When she got tired, she started to look for my mom, and she automatically headed straight for the kitchen. I watched her for several minutes, as she investigated the kitchen and even the washroom nearby, clearly puzzled by the fact that my mom wasn't where she last saw her. Still confused, she eventually made her way back to the living room, and I swear, her expression when she saw my mom sitting there was priceless. Her ears and tail just fell when I burst out laughing, and she went to sit next to my mom, looking so embarrassed.
I don't know, people say dogs can't tell when you're laughing at them, but she just seems to know. Her embarrassed look even makes me feel bad for laughing sometimes. Does anyone feel the same way, or am I just crazy?
Anyway, tell me what your yorkie has done recently that made you laugh! | How cute
Joel almost does something like that, but he'll out of nowhere think someone is hiding from him when there not and when he thinks he "finds" them he gets so excited, haha |
