My regular vet is NOT the one doing the surgery. There is a specialist on staff who is doing the surgery ... I suppose I should have mentioned that (sorry). The specialist has already seen her last week and is of the same opinion. When I read "second opinion" I was thinking it meant taking her to another clinic or hospital, not just a specialist at the same place.
