Exactly. I read the information and saw the pictures of the surgery in the link the OP posted and it looks pretty serious. I believe the dog having the operation is 12 from what I saw on the dogster page...this is an awful lot for a dog to overcome...let alone one that is 12.

If it were me...I would want a second opinion and a biopsy before I let any vet perform this operation on my dog.
