I'm still confused. Snickers has a cottony coat. It does seem to matt easily. The breaking patterns are following a normal routine. The question i have is....will snickers ever get a silky coat? I thought i read that once a cottony coat always a cottony coat. Then i read that it changes later and its just a puppy coat. Both his parents have a silky coat with correct colors.

Its just this coat is a royal pain in the butt....i mean pain in the butt....his hind legs are the hardest to keep de matted. I never seem to win even though i bathe him atleast once a week.
