I think you will know in your heart what is right for you... Gidget was meant to be mine from the first time I saw her... she was very small- underweight - and needed to be hand-fed... I feel like I saved her... because no one else would have put in all of the effort to get her to a healthy weight like i did... she would not eat dog food and so i was cooking all kinds of different creations to find something she would eat and then sitting there for an hour hand feeding her to get enough food in her.... you decide what you're willing to do for your baby... and if they're really meant to be yours... there isnt much you wouldnt do! |
I too love your story and can totally relate. My husband and I hand fed Georgie for months still do sometimes. The immense love that he gives us makes it all worth it
