Thanks everyone for the nice comments, I have been watching them together this morning and they are so funny together... Remy loves Sammy and this morning Sammy was being bratty and barking about something (which we are trying to teach him not to do) so I put him in a 3 minute time out in his kennel... when I closed the door to their room with Remy in the other room he freaked out! He was pacing and crying louder than Sammy and he wasn't in time out! I just think it is so interesting how close they have become, and they really hate to be without each other. It makes me so sad to read the different threads about German Shepherds attacking small dogs and people blame it on the breed. I know some big dogs are dangerous but if people could see my furbabies together they would surely understand that some big dogs and little dogs are so loving and attached to each other. It may be his herding instincts but Remy always makes sure everyone (especially Sammy) is all together when we go for walks or get up in the morning and go to bed at night. They take care of each other and me too! Just my rant for the morning
