Please Help advice, desperate... On October 12th, I moved to a new home away from "Daddy". Miss Mini is almost 8years old. At our previous home, we had a routine that was followed everyday. Obviously, that regimen has changed and its not possible to duplicate here.
Problem: Running to the door when I leave and barking and howling like crazy, I can barely get out the door...it is stressful for all of us...also Mia does whatever Mini does so its both of them.
When in the car they bark nonstop one continuous bark as to say, its obvious that its stress related but I don't know how to change these new behaviors.
The barking is literally nonstop and no matter what I say she keeps barking over and over, I've tried getting out of the car until she stops only for her to start back up when I get in...I did this for over an hour in and out last week to no avail...she does after about 15 minutes stop.
Now, Miss Mini is easy to train with new tricks, she lays down, rolls over, high five, and guarantee I can teach her a new trick and she will own it today...I just can't stop this madness whenever I leave or put her in the car?
I can not at this point afford a private trainer, so anything that I can do?
Again, keep in mind that Mia does whatever Mini does and is deaf! Thank you so much in advance....your advice and or suggestions to tapes books etc, are welcomed!
