I admit my suggestion is a bit over the top... but if a bone does do any damage, it could take a day or two before one would see any definite symptoms indicating a problem, or even longer as many Yorkies are very good at hiding the fact that something is wrong with them.
An xray can show the size of any pieces of bone, and the vet will know if they are more likely to pass through without a problem. If a large piece is seen and determined not likely to safely pass, you then have the option of having the bone(s) surgically removed, before the dog becomes too ill from any damage the bone will likely cause.
Most vets will suggest to 'wait and see', which I have no problem with in larger dogs. Smaller dogs have smaller intestines, with tinier loops, and it's easier for even small objects to get stuck.
A simple xray can give you a much better idea of what's going on and what to expect, or peace of mind if nothing shows up (then still watch for symptoms).
Also very closely monitor how much he's eating, so you know if he's backing off from his food or not.
