While raw bones can be quite good for a dog cooked bones tend to splinter when they bite them and the sharp edges can cause cuts in the intestines. If you think he swallowed parts of the bone it would be a good idea to have him checked out. Small dogs have tiny intestines and they tend to have more problems with such things

The little Yorkie, Lilo Kahlua Bear, who you may have seen here on YT on occasion, recently passed away. When admitted to the hospital she was very anemic. At first they thought she was anemic because of possible bone chips caught in the intestines. Sadly, she also had a serious protein deficiency. So very, very sad. You can't be too careful with these furry family members.
