2 dogs are twice the fun, but also twice the expense and work.
I am so happy we have Teddy, but it was much easier going places and doing things with just Max.
Gender: I don't think it matters. It comes down to the individual dogs.
Breed: There are many small dog/big dog successful combos on YT. They do bond and snuggle. However, I would recommend this only to people who are really good at training dogs. I know it is beyond my capability, so I am more comfortable with both dogs being small breeds.
Moving: This is definitely something to consider. Are you moving far or out of country? If it is a complicated move, I personally would wait.
