My daughter just adopted a dog from the Humane Soceity and we were all so excited to see her that she came over and played and we didn't think twice..

Well, a couple of days later we realize the new dog (Ellie) who is really a sweet mixed mutt, has kennel cough and now Pita has it and my other daughter's Chi has it too.

I got Pita with Kennel cough one year ago this week and it took so long to get over and know I've exposed her again!! I am so mad at myself for not thinking about it before we introduced the dogs!!

So far it's not too bad, an occasional cough and some sneezing but I know how bad it can get!
