There is an excellent rescue in Florida, United Yorkie Rescue, they do excellent work and sometimes put thousands of dollars into their babies. They do ask a few hundred dollars for the dogs but considering what they put out that is a nominal fee.
Not all their rescues are that sick. Many are just needing new homes. There are people here on YT who belong to and support them. They do great work.
They also make and sell a bows, sweaters and other things to help raise money for the organization.
