Well, a little different, but Jackson had a vital pulpotomy (or something like that) on his lower canine tooth. He had an issue with a slight overbite where the canine tooth was sharp and poking into his upper palate/gums. Rather than pulling it, which my vet did not want to do because it's such an important tooth, we went to a dental specialist and had the procedure done where they basically shaved down the tooth and then filled in, so it's no longer poking him. Anyway, it was a somewhat easy procedure and he pulled through just fine. Was just very whiny after anesthesia for the rest of the day. We had pre-op bloodwork done ahead of time of course.
