I think you were very smart to whip out the Clorox wipes and clean up everyone's shoes and the car. You never know what could be lurking on the floor at a vet's office that doesn't seem to be very clean
Our vet's office is very clean but my girls never touch the floor there, and I put a blanket down on the exam table (besides being afraid of germs, it's cold too!). They look at me a little sideways, but who cares
