Hi! We have had our sweet little girl for 2 1/2 weeks now. She is 3 1/2. We got her from a family that had 3 dogs inside and she does better with only one dog in the house they said. She was their first one and the other two get along great and play while she just kind of hid out and quit interacting after the other dogs came along. They wanted her to go to a one dog home where she could come out of her shell they said. She has been doing really good. Very few accidents in the house, mostly our fault when she did. She is very shy and reserved though. She hangs out in her bed most of the time. She didn't have toys or play with them at her old home, not sure which. Have gotten her some but she looks at them like she has no clue what to do with them. She is scared part of the time too, you can tell cause her whole little body shakes when she gets scared. Mostly when you bend down to pick her up but not always. Just curious how long before they adjust to their new homes and any tips/suggestions to help transition easier and her feel more secure would be appreciated.
