It's like he knows I'm leaving when I put it in there.
I haven't found any real messes. No chewed up couch, cords, etc. We'll see if he left me a secret "package" somewhere. But, so far, nothing! He's really a sweet little guy. |

Hee hee! Harry learned how to open his crate - I watched him do it after a few times of him meeting me at the front door
If the latch is wet and chewed a little, then I would think he's learned the same thing....

I then resorted to a padlock on the latch - but then thought "if there's a fire or something, this is just dangerous...."
So, with great trepidation, I gave him full roam of downstairs - starting with an hour etc. I
totally puppy-proofed the wires etc - I didn't mind the odd poop (although funnily enough, there never have been any!

) but I needed to protect HIM from HIMSELF!!!
We've never looked back - Harry can look out of the front and back windows, he's relaxed and happy - at some point I think we all have to 'take the plunge' - maybe Gizmo's telling you he's trustworthy!

Good luck! Sally + Harry x
