One of my dogs eats SO. It is a great food and I would not hesitate to use it. ...but if a dog has only had two UTIs with no underlying problems, a prescription food may not be needed. I'd ask why they want to use it so soon. My other dog has had several UTis. they may be seondary to a mild liver issue or just that she is a girl. Bladder diets were never considered. Obviously if it is going to be a bloody, miserable mess everytime there would be a good reason. One type of stone shows up only on ultrasound. And $1000 for a UTI - yikes!
