That kennel has two zippers and I had zipped them both to the top, thinking that if they were on the bottom that he'd be able to bite them and pull the zipper open, well, he figured out that with them zipped at the top all he had to do was jump on the door enough and the zippers would go down and he could get out! Luckily he figured it out when I was still here so that I could remedy the issue. Oh boy was he proud of himself when he came upstairs to see me! LOL! |
I'm hoping he isn't smart enough to open the crate and I just didn't close it all the way! He has been chewing on the latch though. Hmmm....I tried something new today. I put the crate in front of the sliding glass window so he could see outside. I normally put him in his closed crate inside the x-pen, but he hates it in there. It's like he knows I'm leaving when I put it in there.
I haven't found any real messes. No chewed up couch, cords, etc. We'll see if he left me a secret "package" somewhere. But, so far, nothing! He's really a sweet little guy.
