I really shouldn't be diagnosing illnesses, I usually always say go to the vet, and I believe in having a good phone relationship with your vet so that you can call about any small problems and to see if it's okay to give Pepcid. I guess the indigestion could be a sign of an underlying problem and, you wouldn't want to give it to a dog with liver problems. Also, the vet can make sure, you’re not feeding something that could be causing the indigestion, snacks and human foods are the primary culprits. Sometimes a vet might even suggest smaller more frequent meals. But yikes $400 for a test?
