Hey YT,

I think I figured out why he has been bitting his butt so much. Today when I give him his daily brushing, I found fleas around his butt and back legs. It really surprised me though because he has been bitting for about 4 days now and this is the first time I saw the fleas. I feel so dirty and itchy knowing that we have fleas in our house. Since Julius and I never had a flea issue, I dont know how to even proceed. He is on a every 3 month does of flea and tick meds, but due to his itching, I was 1 week off from applying a new dose. ANy suggestions that anyone can give me will be much appreciated. Does this warrant a trip to the vet, or can I try to handle the situation myself??
