I also got an 11 and also chose poodle as most intelligent. I could have sworn I read that somewhere too.
I was LOLing at the dogs can trick you part. Oh yes they can and DO! If someone other than myself feeds Uni's meals, if someone else wanders into the kitchen around breakfast time, she pretends she hasn't gotten fed and whines at the cabinet where her food is. She's gotten MIL a few times and got a double serving of breakfast.
