Some people still don't decorate until the week of Christmas or Christmas Eve. In a way, I sort of envy those who don't really start the season until later. Think of all that Christmas spirit and decorating compressed until just a week or so - the intensity of all that in just a few days of hustling and scurrying around in a Holiday daze. It can be lots of fun that way - hectic but fun! That's how we used to do it when I was a kid - a week or two AFTER Thanksgiving and we didn't have time to kind of get used to it. Still, nowadays, I kind of like to get it all done early and relax and enjoy it those last two weeks. |
I know, you are right. But I want that smell of pine in my home already. lol

I can't imagine scurrying around to decorate. But it looks like this year will be it!

I also love to get it done early so I can relax and enjoy the lights, smells, and sounds of Christmas.
