the vet will probably want blood work that will be a indicator of pancreatitis, anything high in fat is not good especially hot dogs, ham and other things. There are a number of good foods, merrick, natural balance, orjien, acana, solid gold are just a few. The dog food if he has pancreatitis should be low in fat, solid gold has a low fat food which is only 6%. Remember if you change his food do it over a weeks time, they can have sensitive stomachs, see what the vet says first.Chester gets some human food bananas, rice is not bad for them I hope he is better soon
