Yes, it is possible. UT?is are very common, esp. for females. My guess is that they will do a urinalysis and they should do a culture. If it is a UTI antibiotics should take care of it. If the vet is concerned and/or the problem continues, diagnostic imaging will be needed to rule out some things (stones in particular). Whatever it is, it is very, very likely that she will be just tine.
