It does convert into a car seat and has won many awards. It has been crash tested and passed! We currently have a Snoozer which I love but lately Taycie has been getting nervous in the car. I was driving on the freeway and hit those pesky noise maker things on the side of the freeway and it really traumatized her.
Soo she have been in her crate but this looks so cozy and cute!
