Doily? lol. Don't mean to make light but I live with one I've tried everything recommended on from lemon oil rub to a special treatment I bought at an antique bazaar and nothing really removed it from sight. It's better with all the different things I tried - none of which I can recall since it's been so long. Finally, I had to actually get out one of Mother's old doilies from my Grandmother and put over it. I hope someone can help you.
