The coughing got worse within a few days so I brought him to the emergency vet. I left the vet with antibiotics but was left with more questions then when I started. The vet thought it could be tracheal collapse based on the X-ray she took but she phoned me and told me she was wrong and there was no tracheal collapse. I told her Grim was now throwing up (from the meds I think). Long story short the vet made more suggestions and suggested more testing. This all happened within 4 days of me owning him.
Now to get to the point.. I stayed in contact with my breeders frequently. They showed alot of concern for mine and Grim's well being. They insisted I send him back so that they could nurse him back to health for me. I sent him back and he has been sick for a month now. I'm just wondering if anyone went through a similar experience with their breeder and what the outcome was. Thank you kindly for any comments as I have been pretty worried about the whole situation. |
So sorry to read this. I know I would die if anything at all happened to Miles. I was crying for 30 minutes when I accidentally let a vet give Miles a lepto shot. Long story .... but he's was and is perfectly fine now.
So great that the breeders are nursing little Grim back to health, though.
