Retained baby teeth are common in Yorkies and are usually removed when you put them under for their spay/neuter at around 8 months of age...by 8 months, all the adult teeth are in, and you can get any baby teeth that remain, pulled. I personally do not like to advocate spaying/nutering before 8 months of age....evidence-based research shows there are permanent problems caused by this push to spay/neuter at such early ages. There seems to be something behind that "old wives tale" to let females go thru one heat cycle.....and you want to allow growth plates to be completed and optimal.
